It is not easy to describe direct relationship between the reflections on IR after the entry into WTO in case of Japan. The influence by the development of the globalization of trade and labour on Japanese labour standards and industrial relations has not be proved clearly by evidences except by showing the ratio of lay-off and wage levels which might be affected by the increase of trade in certain industries. It is also not well presumed this casual relationship between work hours of Japanese workers in exporting industries and trade However, in this paper the author will try to show changes of industrial relations mainly by writing about court decisions and legislation on labour relations.
